Classic three spoke design distributed by Schisler. While these are not as popular as eagle heads, I really like them. I like using them for Reeves Deadlifts (load standard barbell, but deadlift grabbing the lip of the plates). The plates have rough finishes which provided for a lot of grip.

I have a pair of 35's and a pair of 10's and agree that they have a very good feel. They are harder to come by in Colorado. It seems like some vintage plates are more popular in some areas than others. The 10's pictured were painted by the previous owner in Bronco's colors.

This is an amazing barbell. The knurling is aggressive. I would argue it is more aggressive than my Rogue Aggro Bar. For one rep max, I love it. For higher volume sets, I have to tape my thumbs. I prefer a double overhand grip and this is incredible. It is not a daily driver, but I do really like it when I am deadlifting.

I own a pair of 45's and 25's and these are great plates. The previous owner had painted them grey. Rather than stripping and oiling, I decided to just highlight the lettering with a black paint pen and like the look.

Love these plates. They are accurate, good aesthetic and can still be found for $1-$1.50/pound. My 45's, 35's, 25's, 10's and 5's are milled. My 2.5's are not milled, although some are said to exist. My only gripe is the 25 pound plates. The lip on them is useless and I really do not like loading and unloading them. All of the other plates are great. Kind of like York Roundheads, these are the gateway drug to vintage plate collecting.

This is my most complete set of vintage plates. I do not own the 100's and even if they became available, I am not sure how much I would be willing to pay. I like the branding. The plates themselves do not have any great features. They are not good for hub lifting. The lip is not very aggressive, so you need to hold on tightly. The tolerances are loose. With all that said, I like them and if they fit your gym aesthetic, I would recommend them. They can still be found on Facebook Marketplace for $1/pound.

I like the Finnish Ball trainer. I originally bought it to train for King Kong. If you do buy this piece, make sure you pair it with an open top loading pin. The ball is intended to sit vertical rather than being attached with a carabiner. Well constructed and a great price point. I eventually was able to purchase an Otevoima and the welds and paint are much better on the Otevoima, but as a training tool, the Arm Assassins version works great and is much cheaper.

I have mixed opinions on blobs, globs, etc. On the one hand, they are historic and pretty cool. The thought of Pops Sorinex being challenged by a half 100 in the basement of a gym cleanout and then calling it the Fatman is legendary. On the other hand paying $3-$4/pound for a cut up dumbbell seems stupid. Nevertheless, I own a half 50 and use it often enough to recommend that everybody should own a blob they can lift and a challenge blob. I have not been able to lift a half 60 yet.
