I used to own this bar, but I sold it for a couple of reasons. I didn’t use it as much as I thought I would, and also, it was actually worse for my shoulders than a straight bar. That said, the performance of the bar itself was great, and the value is pretty good. I docked this on value mostly due to the poor knurling. It’s very passive for sure. That’s also part of the reason for the build quality not being perfect. I also wish they would have went with a curved camber so you could benefit from the greater range of motion for more than just one set of handles. Lastly, if you can, make sure you try out a camber bar for a few sessions before buying. I assumed it would be easier on the front of my shoulders, which often get irritated when I bench heavy twice on a week. Even after some time off to give my body a break, the neutral handles of the camber bar irritated the front of my shoulders worse, we all angles of the bar. That seems like that’s not the norm, but don’t be like me and assume this type of bar will help you bench more often, or with less pain or discomfort.

I got this over the mutant metals version mostly because it was available used for a great discount off the new price. I didn’t think the different angles up or down would matter much, but I was glad I ended up with this version as the angled up option is a little easier on my shoulders. If you have a similar issue, maybe the Velocidor is better for you than the Mutant Metals UDA. I do still use the traditional flat angle, and occasionally did the narrowest setting, but my go to is the up angle for sure. If you don’t have shoulder issues, this may also be the best option since you can emphasize different muscles a little easier by changing the vertical angle. I can’t do too many dips with the angle down, but they so feel different. You do of course lose dual functionality of the handles, but at most long handles like that, at least for me, would only be useful for a lat pull down bar if you get the arc attachment, and is one hell of a heavy lat bar.

I’ve noticed only two downsides to this jack. The rubber protectors should probably me uhmw instead, and if you lift heavy (450 lb plus), then it doesn’t lift the bar quite enough especially if you use iron plates and a deadlift bar. The biggest plus for me is that it mounts on a wall super easy. Other full jack options would stick way out due to the handle coming out at an angle. This one doesn’t have an angle so it sits almost flush with the wall. I just got a two prong long wall mount hook from Lowes and it holds it perfectly.

I got these used for $100 I believe, so if you can get them used, the value is much better. I still rated the value as low, however, because buying new for most Titan items these days seems risky to say the least. Their prices are much to close to Rep to warrant risking getting a lemon from Titan. If you do get a deal on them though, it’s a different equation. I agree that they are very loud, but they work just fine as long as you have horse stall mats or something similar under them. I am not a heavy deadlifter by any means though (probably 425 or so is the most I’ve lifted on mine), so that may be a factor for you. I did see a video a while back of Brian Shaw’s wagon wheels of a similar all metal design and they were so bent up they looked like octagons). If you have the money, I think the bumper style like Rogue has are much better, but then again, I don’t think I could justify spending that much for something I might use once a month.
