No real issues with it, but the space required to lift the bar is more than it should be - you need about 18” of clear space front to back for the full range of motion.
It’s a great rower - the gold standard for many years. It’s pretty solid, though the plastic rollers surprised me. Haven’t had any issues but I feel that’s less durable than I’d expect. Also costs a small fortune. I probably wouldn’t buy again due to cost, but I use it since I have it. Great for warming up before squats and deadlifts.
This is the only MG bar I’ve used so my benchmark is lacking. It’s very comfortable and seems versatile enough. Probably don’t use it as much as I could, but have done bench and pressing movements with it. Bought used off marketplace so the value was fine for me. As typical with Rogue products, it’s built well.
I find it awkward to retrieve chalk from it without spilling it all over the floor. It’s built well, but I’d rather just a bowl or a sack. Your opinion may differ…
Purchased in May 2022 as a limited edition item. Feels good, built solid, nice 28.5mm for us with smaller hands. And who doesn’t love some red, white, and blue in their gym?
Perfect plates. Accurate weight and feel and look good (and vintage). I only have 6 - 45's in these, but these became the benchmark for which all other plates are measured.
The only plate I will replace these with is The Strength Co plates.
