I prefer this style stand to the column. The one I had made adjustments somewhat tight at times but nothing that would make me want the column. Mine was kind of short- saw a review that added casters and that is pretty genius (even just for the height)
I have 1 pair of 10s that I got used with some echo v2 plates. These are fine but don’t get used a lot. I wouldn’t say no if I got them used for a good price but probably wouldn’t buy new. If I wanted bumper plates like this I would probably go with homegrown stength (KY FTW!)
Bought this for my dad for Christmas. Played with it some before I gave it to him. Got a good hand workout but the outside of the bag started to get dusty from the rice stuff inside.
This was my first home gym piece that I got used for marketplace. It was an older version of this but still 103 inches tall. Worked well was just too tall.
Thing is built like a tank and will last forever. Squat stands are great for starting a home gym. 70 inch is a little short so if you wanna do pull up’s might want to think about that.
I liked using this bar for squats, hated it for bench but that’s just me. Knurling was nice and felt good on the back. The one I used was in commercial gym and it took a licking but still looked great.
