The Legacy is a fantastic multi-purpose machine. Its primary functions are seated leg extensions, seated leg curls, and laying leg curls. BOS has attachments for preacher curls and they have indicated they intend to create more functionality for the unit. It has excellent range of motion on all three of its primary movements, although it may take a few attempts to determine the best configuration. The machine is very customizable, and the leg pad, lever arm, and seat have many positions to fit most body types. It is comfortable to use and relatively quick and easy to adjust. Having tried the Titan version of this, I can say that this has both a better strength curve and more comfortable padding. It is a tremendous value for the price and has massively improved my leg training. There are a few issues. First, while the strength curves are great, they are only great with the correct weight distribution, which requires trial and error. Absent getting it right, there may be small dead-zones at the top of a laying leg curl and at the bottom of the leg extension. Second, the seat sits somewhat far back, making this machine less than ideal for leaning forward on seated leg curls. A pad behind the back or pulling yourself forward on the machine's handles helps. Third, the knee pad for the seated leg extensions must be fully inserted into a receiving port that sits between the legs. This requires the handles to be inserted and removed for each set of leg curls. This is not the end of the world, but adds an extra step to the set up. Beyond that, the machine has no unique issues that you wouldn't find on any other machine with this design. It was easy to build, BOS has great customer service, and I would buy it again.
