I bought them as singles for about $150 each back in 2019. Despite their design flaws and suboptimal build quality, that was still a good deal. They got the job done and held up well until I finally bought some Rep x Pepin Adjustable dumbbells in 2024. Now, in 2026 I wouldn’t recommend these unless you get a really good deal (like $free99). There are too many really good quality and affordable options out there now.

This is my daily driver. I’ve had this bar for about 2 years and it’s great - super affordable, good quality, nice knurling. It came with a few tiny dimples and marks on the collars, but you wouldn’t notice unless you were looking for them. Otherwise, the bar looks and performs great. Plus, it was super affordable. Just make sure you’ve got a dehumidifier in your space (unless you live in a dry climate) if you buy the bare steel.

These bags are great - good value for money, durable. My only gripe is that they come with straps on the sides and top. I’m not quite sure what the intention was with this design choice, but for strongman or even functional fitness/ GPP the straps just get in the way. I cut the side straps off and finished the ends with a lighter.

This is one of the highest quality pieces from Titan. It’s a fantastic value for the price. The vinyl is nice, the padding is stout and the handles are solid. I also like the unified pad rather than the SSBs with three separate pads.

These dumbbells are almost perfect. Sometimes the plates get stuck when you pull them out and I’ve had them drop, bounce off the horse stall mats and land on the concrete more than once🤦‍♂️But once you get the hang of that, it isn’t an issue. The biggest issue I have is that basically NEED to buy the mtn_bykr upgrade kit for the change plates and adjustment pins. My hands are relatively big and my knuckles constantly popped the pins out. One time I popped it out while swinging the dumbbells into position for an incline press and one of the plates came off. I don’t want to misrepresent them though, because they are safe if you treat them with the same respect as any other piece of heavy gym equipment. Overall, the build quality is premium - I love the diameter of the handles and the knurling. I like that I could start with the base 85 pounders and then later buy a 20lb upgrade. I also like that the one dock fits all of the sizes. Rep even sent me the flush pin upgrade for the change plates out of the blue and free of charge. My only gripe is that they don’t have a first party upgrade to make the adjustment pop pins flush. Again, if you buy these you’ll be happy with your purchase, but definitely order the pop pin upgrade from mtn_bykr on eBay. The flush fit pins are pictured below.

This is my favorite piece of cardio equipment. The build quality and belt drive system are bulletproof. I bought mine second hand it still functions like it’s brand new. The seat position is quick and easy to adjust so both my wife (5’2”) and myself (6’5”) can use it in the same workout if we want to.

I love my X-3. I made a “lateral upgrade” to the X-3 from a 2x2 RitFit power rack with a built in dual pulley functional trainer. And I’m so glad I did. This rack is a great value at the price point, will grow with my gym, and is WAY more stable. Plus, the build quality is better than RitFit. The powder coat gets scuffed pretty easily, especially where you place attachments.
