In terms of budget leg extension/curl combo machines, this definitely is a top dog. It fits the average height folks really well and have had my taller friends on it without problems. I have to highlight the stretch at the bottom, because you get an excellent stretch for extensions, better than some commercial pieces. There are a couple critiques though that can't be left without mentioning.
1. Its a plate eater
I am not that strong of a guy in terms of legs, but this machine made me feel that way. I only had bumper plates when I had this piece, and I could fill the entire weight pin! A confidence booster yes, but a bit of a drawback in terms of function. A band before the plates helps with this though so it isn't the end of the world, and if you have steel plates it might not be a problem at all for you.
2. Large layout
My gym space is pretty limited, only 8ft by 22ft, meaning I have to pack as much into the area as possible. It might not be problem for you, but the area that this thing took up was a bit more than what I Really wanted to use for a leg curl/extension. If you have the space its no problem at all but in my case it was the main reason for me getting rid of it.
3. Questioning of the longevity
By time I finished and was getting ready to sell it, I was wondering if I could see the start of the loading pin having a downward slope from the machine bending. Im not sure if it actually was, but either way it made me nervous about how long the thing is really going to last. It definitely is something to keep in mind, but it is a pretty cheap piece
When its all say and done, it gets the job done for what it is, and id recommend it if you've got the space!
