like most Rogue stuff, it's built rock solid, but I think it's substantially overpriced for what it is... a one trick pony I use belt squats at commercial gyms to warm up but the belt squat could never truly replace barbell back squats. In a home gym where space is tight and most equipment needs to be able to perform several tasks, it's hard to justify the footprint of this monster. that said, it is smooth and intuitive to use. I have no complaints about the functionality and I think it is a great D load tool or warm-up tool. The one I've used the most at the gym down in Portland often has people waiting to get on it so I know it gets very heavy use but it shows no significant signs of wear that I have seen over the past couple years. If you buy it, it will outlive you.

Very pleased with this inexpensive and comfortable strap. Much less strain on the wrists while doing heavy cable crunches. Three different levels of pockets that you can slip your hands into, each well padded and quite comfortable, to keep a more narrow grip at the top or create a substantially wider grip profile in the lower rungs. Seems very well-made and the stitching is robust.

I got the standard 1 inch size of these loading pins so that I could put a bunch of my standard vintage plates toward something useful. They do exactly what they are made for and they work perfectly well.

Value is certainly subjective on these. If you are a "weight is weight" kind of person, you should skip these. They are standard sized plates (which you can find any day on marketplace for less than a dollar per pound) but some Lurie addresses are harder to find and thus can go for many hundreds of dollars per plate pair on the collectors' market. But if you love the history of weightlifting, including all the drama behind the early manufacturing of iconic equipment, then these probably deserve a place in your collection. The address plates track the movements of Dan Lurie from his early at-home manufacturing business to his eventual broader commercial enterprise. All of the address plates are collectibles, and when his company got really large they stopped using the address altogether and then eventually the manufacturing was outsourced to overseas. Those later plates are not collectible but the early ones certainly are.

Classic plates that make great users for all your standard bars and other 1" implements. Being small bore, they can often be found at much cheaper prices than the 2" plates that dominate today. I use them for grip training and on my dinnie stone posts.

Collectors love the buns and globes. They are a connection to the bygone Silver Age of physique culture. They are still a ton of fun to push around today, but for most owners they are show pieces more than daily drivers. The 50s and 60s can be obtained for a few hundred bucks per pair but if you start seeking the 5 lb increments, they get really pricey. Not worth the investment unless you're dedicated to the idea of building a complete set. Nonetheless, they will hold their value over the years, due to the rich history... so at least you can count on them being worth something in the future, unlike all that money being taken out of your paycheck to float the Social Security ponzi scheme.

By the end of a workout, when the core work comes around, I just don't feel like lying on dirty hard stall mats. This mat give just enough padding to keep comfortable during floor work but not so thick that it can't be rolled up and stored away readily. Quick and easy to deploy and to remove. The kids love it, too, and half the time it winds up somewhere upstairs because someone has been playing yoga on it in front of their cartoons.

Comfortable to use, stable on the cable work. Great for kickbacks and other leg work. Also very useful outside of the gym. I bought two pairs, because the Dark Witch has four limbs that need to be restrained.
