If you can find one used at a good price, buy it without hesitation. They look great in person and are built like a tank.

This is a must-have for a garage gym. It's affordable, built like a tank, and perfect for HIIT-style training. I do 30-to-45-second bursts between sets to keep my workout intensity high and maximize fat burn. It's also a great alternative if you don't have space for a dedicated cardio machine. After a year of consistent use, you'll definitely notice a real increase in your explosiveness.

This machine feels 100% made for the elderly. The ergonomics are wonky with a limited range of motion, and the movement isn't fluid at all.

This thing is awful. The ergonomics are completely off, and the tension gets uneven as you work through the movement. Save your money and buy a proper pec deck instead. Plus, the footprint of this machine is massive. Overall, I’d recommend hauling it straight to the nearest scrap yard.

The ergonomics on most Hammer Strength equipment definitely favor lifters under six feet tall. I literally have to drop the seat to its lowest setting, and even then, the muscle engagement just feels average. Honestly, you'll get a better stretch and pump simply doing incline dumbbell presses.

Pretty much every gym in SoCal has one of these, so I’ve used them for years. They’re fine, but the range of motion feels limited if you’re over six feet tall, the ergonomics definitely favor shorter lifters. It’s also far from a home gym essential, as you can get the exact same stretch and engagement using a basic single-arm cable pulley.

Honestly this thing just sit in the corner and I rarely use it... I know some people love them (my wife included), but I think they just take up space and the benefits are minimal.

These definitely work! Anytime I start to get tennis elbow or feel pain coming on, I use these a few times a day, and the pain starts going away within a week. I originally thought they were a gimmick, but after dealing with elbow pain for months, I finally gave them a try. After about 5 to 7 days, I could feel the pain easing up. Without them, the pain gets so bad you can't even lift. Don't go crazy buying every color, you just need one. I have the blue one and it works well.
