I will start off by saying that they beat the hell out of a spring collar and many cheaper options. That being said I use these as my daily driver and trust them for the most part. I can attest that they have yet to completely fail to lock down but there have been plenty of times that I have had to re twist the locks down after a set. They look great! I have the OD Green version and think they look phenomenal but I definitely would ensure they are locked fully.

I love these things! Super affordable, strong, and useful. My only complaint it that my pull up bar wore off some of the foam padding on the loop. Definitely will be adding the cable attachable versions to the gym

I only use these on my curl bar now because this cannot handle any serious weight. They cracked after 30 uses and were incredibly stiff before that. Just buy the bells of steel if going cheap or upgrade to something that won’t last only a month

I’ll be honest I got mine for free by rescuing it from the dumpster at work. After I restored the leather and placed some rusted bolts it hasn’t been terrible. But the width of the pad is tiny, the legs are long and clunky, and you almost have to hole it upright to use the wheels. The height is also massive probably the tallest bench I’ve ever used. Lasted me about a year after being restored so it is semi sturdy but I just purchased the Rep AB-5200 2.0 with a wide pad so I definitely am excited for the upgrade!

It’s a good magnetic bowl. I think that this wasn’t designed with loose chalk in mind. I love how small the footprint is and the magnet is great. I will be upgrading from this but it does have abmat high quality build but just poor engineering.

I got this knowing it wasn’t going to be the most wonderful and highest quality piece ever. I definitely believe it is better than any other economic option besides maybe bells of steel. My main complaints are that unless you have diy add ons like making a chest fly or lat pull down, you are kinda limited in what you can really do. I love that it has a great weight capacity and the price is next to nothing for what you are getting. I definitely think that the pulleys when you have it at the highest height scrape against the cable stops and can be annoying. I also think you need to upgrade the pulleys to aluminum. I will be upgrading to a vultra at some point but if you’re in a budget and have the room don’t waste your money on the Amazon options just get this you will not regret it until you’re ready to upgrade.

I love the barbell rescue brush!! I recently got into collecting vintage bars and weights and man, this thing has been huge in reducing time spent cleaning the shaft… let me rephrase. It’s been awesome in kicking rust off. If you combine it with 3 in 1 oil it really works. It made my York split sleeve usable until I have time to put it in OA and re blue it. If you don’t have one get it! Way better for your bar than just using chemical cleaners. I would also recommend getting the magnetic holder off Etsy and just giving it a home.
