This is a great product, shame it’s not MiUSA any longer but glad to see a bigger brand like Rep take over the production and help the creator, vs coming up with a cheap copy. The first gen of this product didn’t have the magnet to hold up the landmine, and the swivel was not as good. I wasn’t thrilled to have to pay over $100 to retrofit this, but it’s perfect now, smooth to use, keeps up out of the way when not in use, just premium in every aspect. I can’t see this being improved upon.

I didn’t like using this. Not sure if it was the angle, thickness of the handles, wobble while using it, difficulty storing it, or the slipperiness of the handles themselves. Suffice it to say, no bueno for this hombre.

I hate this thing. It's impossible to get comfortable using. I don't know how anyone can stand it. Don't do it. There's a million other ways to strengthen your neck.

Hard not to give this a 1 for value. Even buying a used bike has come with a massive price tag. The subscription is not worth the price, even with the great programming and the ability to have multiple users in the house. I do love the build quality and performance of the thing, damn them. I don't know how to get rid of the subscription and still get the experience, but if I could find a good way to do that, I'd be out in a heartbeat.

I got this bar as part of the liquidation, or whatever it was they had over at Kabuki before they went belly up. I didn't love it. I didn't really like it, even. Based on what others mention, it seems like they mixed up end caps and this was the Columbia bar. I happen to really like the Columbia bar I was sent and I couldn't wait to get shorn of this bar as soon as I felt it. Just kind of a wimpy knurl, sloppy sleeves, one sleeve was a little rusted when I took a look inside, and even after cleaning it up, it still didn't move smoothly. Done and dusted. I think we all miss Kabuki, but things like this make me miss them a little less.

I bought this on clearance right before Kabuki went kablooey and man, what a fantastic barbell for $237 shipped! The version I have is bare steel. I love the knurling on this, not quite as aggressive as some other bars I own, but really grabs your hands tight. I prefer this bar when doing RDLs, for whatever reason, the lack of flex in the bar and the tightness of the sleeves to the shaft just makes it perfect for this. With Kabuki's legendary variety in QC, I'd be careful to try the bar if you can find one used before you buy, but it's really a great barbell to own, at least the one I ended up with.

I had the Kabuki version and sold it in favor of the EliteFTS American Cambered Bar years ago and never looked back. The angles of the handles were just a tad off for me for whatever reason, and the EliteFTS bar fits my body better. The other problem I had was the width of the actual bar and how close the ends of the inside of the bar came to my jcups. With my Rep rack, there's a little bit less room than in, say, a Rogue rack, and I'd often hit the jcups with the end of the inside of the bar. At one point, I sliced off some UHMW from my jcup and it flew back and scratched to the right of my eye. After that, I sold the bar. It's me, not you, you know?

I purchased the breakdown version of this product and the build on it was so bad that I couldn't get it to twist closed. When I reached out to them to complain, they sent me a new one but I had to pay shipping for the replacement. And they wouldn't take back the product and give me a refund unless I paid to ship it back. So, probably why they went bust. Just crappy service and a rather hard time with QC. Good news is that the replacement was fine, chipped coating and some rust, but functionally good. With the lousy experience I had with the first go-round, I couldn't bother reaching back out to them about it. I've since had the Shoulderok for about 5 years now, and it has been a great tool for loosening my shoulders prior to bench or shoulder day and I don't know what I'd do without it. Knurling is wicked sharp and it really helps with the movement of the mace as it goes around your back and swings forward. Totally love it despite the misery inflicted on my by CS and I only wish I had bought the version that did not breakdown, as I've not once taken it apart.
