UPDATE- this bar is rackable, ignore what I said below. I had it mixed up with a different bar when i was typing. Typical Rogue quality but miniaturized. I got this bar hoping to get my kid into lifting- hasn't happened yet, but there's still time. I use this bar sometimes when I need a shorter bar for ease of maneuverability and don't need a huge amount of weight loaded. The knurling is fairly smooth, which is good for what should be a beginner bar for a kid who wouldn't be handling anything too heavy before they move on to something bigger. It's not rackable on a standard rack which can be a limiting factor in how it's used.

This is the second bar I purchased for my home gym after using a multipurpose bar exclusively for many years. For many years after that I used this bar for all of my lifts and had no complaints. It still looks basically new (red cerakote) after 7+ years without any maintenance. While I know now that the knurling is fairly moderate compared to some other bars, it is plenty grippy for someone who is handling an average amount of weight. I paid 325 bucks and fully expect this bar to last basically forever, can't do much better than that.

I was incredibly stressed going into the certification process because I had heard that the requirements were stringent and almost impossible to meet. After my layout and equipment were rigorously tested and I demonstrated proper Jefferson deadlift form I was allowed to proceed to the 10 person panel interview. Fortunately I had bribed all the right people and made it through with flying colors. Now that I train in a CTF, all of my lifts have skyrocketed and I've gotten noticeably taller. Five stars!

I've only had these a short time but I could tell instantly that they will be getting heavy use for a long time. The grips are incredibly comfortable to hold onto, and the angles feel so much better on my wrists and elbows than a straight bar. I also struggle with shoulder pain from time to time and these help with that as well. Originally I had planned on getting the original MAG attachments but they cost three times as much and while I'm sure they are higher quality for a home gym mostly used by one person it is not going to make a difference.

Got this on Amazon because I had a gift card and I could fit it into a small unused space in my gym. I knew it wouldn't be great since it's only like 200-250 bucks depending on sales. And it's not- not super stable, the pads feel terrible, and the starting points of both exercises have big dead zones with no resistance. However, as a temporary solution until I upgrade it does give me the ability to do leg extensions and leg curls with minimal setup time and it's well built enough that I don't feel unsafe using it. It also has enough adjustments that both exercises feel pretty good- no knee pain or anything. As long as you go in without unreasonable expectations, this can suit your needs. Plus for people that like hacking and tinkering with their machines, you could probably make some improvements that I have not bothered with.

I got most of a 5-50 pound set used for 75 cents a pound and at that price these were a steal. Even paying to get the missing 5 dumbbells new i ended up way ahead. The new pairs have relatively passive knurling but enough that you get a good grip. In my opinion, it's perfect for dumbbells. The handles on the used pairs mostly have held up with the exception of one that seems like somebody deliberately filed it down to be completely smooth. The rubber has taken a lot of abuse over the years so most of the corners on the 12 sides have gotten rounded off but that obviously doesn't impact the function. There are no tears though so I have no doubt these would last for decades more in a home gym. I would never have paid new prices for these but they seem to be incredibly durable so I would recommend them if you run across them used- even at a higher price than I paid. 30s pictured- new on the right

I threw this into my order when I got the twin stack add-on without really thinking about it. It's very well built like any Rogue product, but you will want to think about what you're going to do with it. Tricep pushdowns feel good, but there are much simpler attachments for the same movement. The cable is slightly too short for facepulls without the pulley hitting my nose. I think there are probably other movements that use the pulley in different ways but i don't want to have to do the research. So it has not been worth the price to me.

These plates live up to the hype- they look cool, they sound good, they are basically invincible. Can't wait to add more to my gym. Update- previously I only had a pair of 45s and a pair of 10s, but I recently got an amazing deal on a used 465 pound full set. From talking to the seller, I know these plates had been used extensively for years but you would never know. Next I guess I need some 100s but I think I need to get stronger first.
