To deadlift as heavy as I want without worrying about dropping the weights, I use Titan Crash Pads and a DIY raised deadlift platform to keep me at the same height as the pads (~6in high). I can drop as much weight as I want and there is zero vibration in the house.

These solved a very specific problem for me. I have 7 ft ceilings and cannot do pull ups on the actual pull up bar of my power cage. I tried attaching rings to the top, but my knees hit the ground when I hang from them. I tried Kensui Sissies, but the neutral grip was too rigid and didn't feel right. But when I hooked up these Angles 90s to the bar, it's the absolute perfect height where I can do a pull up all the way to the top but when I hang down my knees don't touch the floor. Don't expect these to change your world or anything. But for the price you pay, they are a very simple device that is deceptively useful and if they solve something for you then get them.

I drove 6+ hours to Columbus OH to pick up 5 pairs of these for a steal of a deal. They are bumpers, but these competition ones with huge steel inserts are thinner than your typical cheap bumpers, so I can fit all 5 pairs and still have room for change plates. My goal rn is to get to a 500lb deadlift with all of my Rogue competition plates on the bar

No fluff. It's just a good bar, man. Minimal maintenance, easy to find used. Don't overthink it.

Definitely worth the money, get it used if you can. I did, and I use it nearly every time I work out. Grip on the pad is beyond belief, and it's so much lighter than my adjustable bench.

A match made in heaven for Ironmaster Dumbbells. If you're handy at all, then I highly recommend: 1) removing the front toe-stubbing leg (idek why that's there to begin with it doesn't add anything to stability) 2) cut some foam/stall mats for the inserts where the dumbbells go (stops any metal-on-metal contact) 3) use magnets to store the longer screws underneath (hack I saw on Reddit) 4) cut some 1/2 inch plywood shelves that rest on top of the bolt ends on the inside of the frame for storage 5) add some small totes for organization (sweat towels, Mad Spotters, etc.)

Mikolo has since updated this model with some changes, mine is the old 2024 version. Totally worth it. If you're not the world's strongest man and just need a decent power cage that lets you use cables as well, I definitely recommend. I upgraded it by adding Angles 90 straps to the pull up bar, Titan T2 safety straps (because the pins suck), new sandwich J cups and roller J cups, and replaced the weight horns on the bottom with my own custom ones made from pipe.
