There are a lot of reverse hypers available on market place that can handle more weight and don't cost as much as this one. However, I have a small gym so the needed the ability to fold. Assembly was quick and it's really easy to fold and move to the side when not in use. I've had it close to the listed max weight for higher reps and it's felt stable. Adding bands helps with the resistance by limiting the upward momentum. I'm using it primarily to help with lower back tightness and not looking to do lower rep sets. Weight loading capacity would definitely be an issue for lower rep work.

This has been a solid addition to the home gym and picked it up during a 20% off sale. It was well packaged for shipping. I like that the weight is 20kg and the ring marks for hand placements are helpful. Only gave 4 stars on build quality over minor cosmetic issues with the finish that doesn't impact the performance at all.

I’m happy with this bench. I got it in the initial run with the clear coat finish, which looks great. It’s sturdy and the pad is a good level of thickness/firmness. There was a shipping issue but Fringe took care of it without issue. At the time I bought this bench, there was 20% cash back, which made it a good value. I bought this prior to the attachment port becoming more common on benches though. The lack of the port is the main drawback, in my view, which is why I’m rating the value lower.

Have the Manticore version and this is only sandwich j cups I’ve had. Works great and has the UNHW to protect rack. Short mag pin to lock in j-up is a nice inclusion.

Own a bare steel bar and this makes it so quick to clean off the bar and keep it in good shape

I have the 12.5lb mace. It’s great for warm ups when doing upper body and also to build strength. The more aggressive knurling would not make it good for flow style mace work.

This has been a great addition. Use it all the time for curls, tricep extensions and lat pullovers.

I got this mainly for hamstring curls. The ability to attach to a weight stack is key. It tends to turn when curling though. Also, I wish there was more texture to help keep heels locked in. Used grip tape on the slider to help with this but that really tears up the backs of your shoes.
