This is an exceptional piece of equipment for my family. I initially purchased it because it was the only way I could get into a position to overhead press after a serious neck injury. Now that I don't use it as much, I find that my family members use it virtually daily. it's an easy and safe way to get a chest workout for those less confident in using free weights and I have no worry that any of the more novice lifters will get injured. I do like the various grip angles and it's just a typical commercial piece - shroud, weight stack, rubber grips, serious heavy metal frame. Got it used, and they're out of business, so they'll all be used from here on out.

This is a great piece. It is commerical, and it feels commercial. My wife is a big fan of the Life Fitness lines and so I've tried to add pieces in from them where it's made sense. I prefer the prone leg curl to the seated, so this checks that box. I'm really happy with it. Only thing I'd mention is that there is movement on the curl movement with the top pad and I think that's just because there must be play there to move from one to the other exercise. The Prime version has the same issue. I did get this used, and I'd definitely recommend getting something like this second hand, or during a clearance sale at LF.

I feel seriously guilt for not owning the EliteFTS yoke bar but this actually is better based on my experience. The padding is almost the same and my padding has held up now for over six years. The sleeves do have a cheap chrome on them, but they don’t chip, just looks cheap. This is the V2. I wouldn’t buy the V3 they’re selling today.

This is a much better barbell for pressing than squatting IMO. The fat shaft and curve is just right to release a little pressure on the shoulders and I find I can bench as much or more with this than a power bar. The knurling is crazy good. I had to sand down the sleeves to fit weight plates on the bar because Rogue effed up their initial run of matte black sleeves. They didn’t own up to is, but whatever, great bar regardless. Just took some sandpaper to get my ROGUE plates to fit.

Just picked some of these up for a good price. My review rating is based on the $4+ price per pound shipped. I’ve had DT Fatbells for a long time and wanted to see how these measure up. They’re really well made, but for something to use sporadically ( with bandbell bar, some cleans and some rowing) I couldn’t justify retail price.

Yeah, they do the thing well. No complaints. Last forever.

I really want to like this more than I do. It’s perfect for seated military press and tricep work, mid-rows, and just about anything else you need headspace but a way to brace your seated body. But it’s not the cleanest looking thing and the pin to allow it to stand up is wonky. I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it for flat bench, or even incline. It’s just not wide enough. But it’s a specialty piece and one that fits a need in my gym.

I absolutely love this bar. I think it’s just perfect for my shoulder width and hand size. I don’t have any wobble so don’t think I’m going to get the updated version. This suits me just fine.
