I got my Rogue Ohio Bonyard Bar before the prices on boneyard bars went into the 200’s, however, you can still find a good value and save some money.
My bar appears to be a bare steel Ohio bar with black cerakote coated sleeves. I even wonders for a while if it might be stainless as it still doesn’t have rust on it and it’s in a garage without AC or heat outside of a space heater in the Midwest. However, I was told if you take off the sleeves, there should be an S stamped on the end. I have no S on either side.
When I got my bar I could hardly find any imperfection, I had to hunt for it and I found a couple little imperfection on the finish of the coating on the sleeves, which over time you wouldn’t even be able to tell was there with use from sliding the plates on and off. As well as a little “ding” on the ribbing at the end of the sleeve. Again, would probably happen over time with use. None of which were even really noticeable unless I hunted for it!
After using it for years, you wouldn’t have even known it was a boneyard bar if not for the end caps (which are cooler than the standard end caps in my opinion!)
